Women carry a big load. We carry out past hurts, mistakes, and pain.
We carry our worries, concerns, and problems. We carry our joy,
happiness, and love. We are still looked upon as humans who need to
prove ourselves every day that we are capable, strong individuals who
can carry the burdens of life. Some of us carry even deeper loads of
past hurts that need to heal. It is terrifying to open that portal of
our past and address it. It is imperative that we do if we are to lead
fruitful, happy lives. It is a process and it takes time. The first
step is to admit that our past hurt us. That it still hurts us. Then,
and only then, can we begin the healing process. Have you been hurt? Do
you now hurt? It is time to heal, to look inside and allow the deep
wounds of our past to come out and be dealt with in a loving way. It can
be done. Trust me. Let's work together to begin the healing, to live
life to its fullest, to love life.

Blue
Have you ever noticed how much BLUE surrounds us? The sky alone hovers above our heads every day we step outdoors, blanketing us in light. The immense oceans, seas, lakes, rivers are filled with blue waters, reflected from the sky. Of course, we only see this blue during the daytime, as white light is a prism of colors that cannot be separated in the darkness, where there is not light at all. The color blue symbolizes our world in light, and when combined with all the green and other colors, can give us such feelings of bliss and joy. A calmness envelopes us when we lie on a blanket observing the sky, or sit by the blue water's edge. At this moment we feel surrounded by white, with all the snow. Try thinking of the color blue today and relish in peace and calm. Envelope yourself in blue, wrap yourself in its arms, sink into the waters of blue, and enjoy!

Woman to Woman
What do you think? A blog just for any woman who seeks healing. It's been creating itself over many years, and will continue to evolve over several more to come. This could be it's beginning. If it sounds worthwhile, please let me know. A simple "like" will do, but comments are very welcome.

Bad Hair Day
Do you ever hear the alarm in the morning and feel like these pictures? Your head is in ten different places, with so much to do the list of things to do seems impossible to achieve? Maybe those are the days we all need to simply stop everything. Let our thoughts die down to a simmer, and allow ourselves to stop thinking. Regenerate our brains by turning them off, even if for only a minute. When we sleep, our thoughts just keep going, as we problem-solve, create, and imagine the worst or the best of our day. When awake, those thoughts simply escalate, with what seems impossible to achieve. This creates stress, tension, hypertension, or worse. Definitely fatigue. So, next time we wake up with a "bad hair day" kind of feeling, thoughts racing, maybe we simply need to pull the covers up rather than off, close our eyes, and think about nothing. Just for a minute. It's amazing what a clear mind can do with one's "list." Maybe it's not such a long list, after all!
